Well, being in Okinawa, Japan right now I don't see to many Eclipse's around here. Since I've been here (18 months) I've seen 3 2gen and 1 1gen Eclipse. But this has been the only one I have been able to get pictures of. And this is the only one has been really modified. Yea I know, another blitz front end. But just seeing an Eclipse is big deal for me. Wide body, front mount, turbo model, interior, etc. Couldnt really tell all what he had done to it. Looked in inside and everything looked to have been changed out. Didn't want to be too snoopy as it was parked and didnt want to piss anyone off. The car beside it under the cover was a NSX. I got the club name off the car and going to see if I can find out more about it. So anyways, thats my news for the week.

That's cool, I don't think it is a production turbo model, however. Note the left-hand drive setup.

Spyder gs-t? No way to really tell with all of the mods, except to see the motor or dash.

remember thers no such thing as a JDM eclipse so there all left-hand drive :thumbsup
i would bet its a GST since why bother importing a non-4G63 into a land famous for knowing the powerplant inside and out.
would be a whole lot easier to work on a 4G over there then importing USDM parts for a 420A. all though that would be an intresting turn of events to see someone in japan getting parts from here.

This is just a shot in the dark, but I think there is a possibility it's a 95-96 model, from the door caps it has. Then again, there is nothing from stoping a 2gb owner to put 2ga skirts on.

EDIT: Also, the plastic cover on the bottom of the winshield, where the wipers rest, looks as beat up as the ones on my 95 RS before I painted them.

Vader hood looks alot different. I know because i covet one.

I'm loving the nrg hood "pins" and doluck wheels. Nice pieces.

I havent had time to check out the car again. I've been in the middle of some training. But Im almost certain that its 4G. Doesnt make sense to get a 420A since this is the land of 4G like foggy said.

plus its a convertable.... so its either has a 4g63t or a 4g64. i really.. really doubt they imported the car, and did an engine swap to a 420a

Non turbo's outside the US were 4g63 platforms anyway.
