Hmm, okay. Well the xbox is downstairs. My computer downstairs is run by wireless. Since its connected via usb wireless, would it work if i plugged the ethernet cable into the ethernet port on the back of the computer?

I got a chance to check out Halo 3 last night. Looks a lot like Halo and Halo 2. I guess it's alright, but I can't say it made me want to run right out and get a 360.

On the other hand, the demo they had on there for Ace Combat 6 took me back to my days with Falcon 4.0 or whatever on the PC. Man oh man is that a sharp looking title.

probably but you will need to reset your modem because its not going to recognize the x-box. If you get on there you will need to download the new maps. My gametag is Mistah Fista

Well i managed to get it connected. I went out and bought an xbox live card, but it says on the back of the box that its only valid for use with the 360. Will it work? I wanna know before i open it, and make it worthless lol.

I'm not sure about using a 360 card with a regular x-box

Its all gamestop had. Do they have others?

Just so you know, Xbox Live time cards work for either the original box or the 360. (I was in the same boat for a while) Too little too late in this instance, but good for future refrence.

I've decided i cant wait till i get an xbox 360, cause halo 3 live is a hell of a lot better than 2. I cant finish a single game without at least 1-2 people quitting the game once they realize theyre losing. I had one guy on my team, we were winning 48-47, really close game to 50. He only had 1 kill, the rest of us had about 15. We were staking out a single room waiting. He decided to come in and flood us with grenades, killed three of us, jumping off the map killing himself, then quit. Making the score 44-47. We ended up losing.

Softmod. (would like to have the Xecuter3 w/ the front display screen and add on usb ports though) I played live with the disk and I had a modded version of halo 2 on my HDD. Well one of my buddies came over one day and asked to play. I was busy at the time so I said sure. Well he booted up the version from the hard drive and drove around my modded warthog for a while. The next time I signed in to live I got the wonderful "were sorry but one or more players have been banned" So basically it was my fault for not telling him but whatever. I still like Xlink.

Oh and here is a pic of my warthog that he drove around in all of its glory for about a half an hour.
