My mom just had open heart surgery to replace a disintegrated valve. As of 1230 EDT she is s till on a ventilator. She shouldn't be on one tgis long!! Something is seriously fucked here guys!! The charge nurse says that she is doing fine but other nurses and experience are telling me that this isn't right... So I ask you all, please say a prayer for my mom, my sister and my dad. Me too if you would but them first. I am not dealing too well with this but it's my mom! I can't deal with this on my own!

An update on my mom... As of now she is sorta stable. still kinda touch and go. Looks like things are going to take longer in the recovery department... Please keep praying for her?

I just got off the fone with my mom! She is now in the step down (transition) unit and she sounds great! She sounds like herself again, from 13 years ago! Right before she had the quintouple bypass! This is amazing!

So to all of you who kept my family in your thoughts and prayers, THANK YOU!!! I got my mom back!!! :D

She is still gonna be about a week or so but she is now progressing very well. May come home with a pacemaker but she is going good now!!
