TMZ, and every other celeb-obsessive site on the web, is reporting that Nick Hogan, son of former WWE superstar Hulk Hogan, is in serious condition after crashing his yellow Toyota Supra in Clearwater, Florida.

The crash occurred a little after 7:30 PM tonight, local time, where witnesses say that Nick and his friend were bombing down Court Street when he lost control and slammed into a Jersey barrier. The car spun around, hit a palm tree and was summarily ripped apart.

Both of the occupants were flown in a helicopter to a hospital in St. Petersburg where Nick and his friend are listed in serious and critical condition, respectively.

I think a few of the Florida guys on the board have met him before and said he was a really good guy. I believe he also races professionally. Hope he's ok.

Wow, that thing got messed up pretty bad. Prayers go out to them. The Hogans seem like wonderful people and it's a shame this has happened. Hopefully they both make it out ok and learn a lesson from all of this.

lesson being dont give your 17 year old a 500 hp supra. I would love to see charges on that stupid ass like attempt of murder showing off on a public street almost getting your friends killed.

he can use the DWF defence (driving while famous) you see judge its not my fault im rich and famous I didnt know that I couldnt race my car daddy got me, on public streets. but I found god so it all good. I like hogan but damn be a father and beat your sons ass.

One the arguments for either making new tracks or keeping the old ones, is that the kids can take it out on the race track and not have to do the macho "on the street" shit. The track is a great humbler.

This little rich fucker blows that out of the water. Here he has access to a fully financed vehicle on the track and he becomes a "wanna be" on the road. Douchebag.

Not to thread-jack but my first car was a Tercel, had 200k when I bought it; 400k when I sold it and it still ran strong. Belts tires oil and brakes were all it ever needed. Strange, because I tried everything but plowing into rails (and palm trees) to kill that thing...

Thats a shame. Terry is a really nice guy. Never met Nick, though hope he and his passenger recover. What a waste of a Supra.

when I first glanced at that pic I so thought of Bumblebee in transformers. thats just too damn funny. they said yesterday on the news that nick was released from the hospital. Hope his passenger makes it ok.

It just goes to show you shouldn't give a kid a car like that.
