Big thanks to all those that came from far away lands for the event!

Not many California 2gnt's besides Juan, Jeff, and myself. I finally got to meet Dave. Armond came from far away too - and got a MOD award for it (some t-shirt or something.) Brian was there too but had to leave Daisy behind.

The event should be called EVO '07, not MOD 07. I got there before the official opening time, and the parking lot was full in almost all sections by evos. 2005 mod had more room for us 2g's. Loved the starions. Props to all the cars that are older than me

There was a dyno competition (invite only), but most of the contestants were evo's. My file for some of the runs got messed up, but I know someone else will post the vids of them. Winner was an evo (I overheard 560 AWHP, but can't confirm)

We also got free lunch this time. meat+bread, he he

EDIT: I was confused, I thought I heard that the guy in the spyder was Thura, it's actually Surge. so no, he's not in the video

He's SoCal Rob's partner in crime, and one of the guys who got the SoCal cruises going to be big enough that Mitsu decided to create MOD.

Thura was probably in Texas banging a hot chick or something. That's how Easy Mac rolls. Sorry about the confusion, Erik. :P

Ha ha, when I saw him roll by and then heard "Thura," I thought "that's him?!?" but then again, I've only seen pictures of Thura on the ground so I thought that explained why I didn't recognize him.

LOL. If, by "Man purse," you mean $2000 Nikon DSLR, then yes. I was sporting my white 2GNT polo shirt and white Eagle hat. I was all over the place Saturday. Spent a lot of time wandering around with Jeff. We were the group sitting by the front exit in the shade during and after the raffle drawing. If you left through the driveway where the General Lee entered, I was on your right snapping some pictures.

(I loved the weather, despite getting a mild sunburn.)

it was great to finally meet some of the OG 2gnters in person. Pizza (& scenery) @ BJ's in HB was tasty (even tho I only got 2 slices instead of 3 like all y'all, and I really wanted the pepperoni!). A slow, leisurely ride in an awesome Brit-style go-kart with ChrisM. Mechanical issues leading to parking lot wrenching and a nightime run to RRE. Best MOD evar 4 me!

Thanks for the video. Great to finally meet you and check out your version of the LED taillight conversion. You have a nice looking ride with the black on black rims etc. Good luck with the new bumper project.
