I would have thought the graphics would have been a little better for this game from looking at those screenshots. Nonetheless, badass that they have 2g eclipses and talons.

Oh ok, that makes sense. The backgrounds look great, just the car models looked a little "fake" I guess.

Don't get upset able.

I haven't seen too much on GT5, but from what I have seen, it is going to own any automotive game ever made.

its not a PC game? I actually sharpened up the pic using the in game photo editor.

Also, Gran Tursimo sucks and has never had even remotely good physics. I'll openly admit I was a HUGE GT mark on playstation 1, in fact, its why I bought my PS2.... but GT3 and GT4 were horrible. Why slow down to turn when you can ride the wall right? The funniest thing in a long time is the advertising firm for Gran Turismo HD used a pic from Project Gotham on the 360 in an advertisement for GT-HD, heh

I always enjoyed GT. I've been playing GT4 still since it ever came out and I'm still not 50% completed, though I play PS2 once a week if I'm lucky.

I've always appreciated the game for its 'driver simulation' you actually have to consider all factors braking, entry speed, hitting the apex, exit speed, etc....and you actually have to PRACTICE and learn tracks to completely dominate them. If thats not fun in a video game I don't know what is.

Granted, I've never touched any of the FORZA games so my opinion is a bit biased :P

Let the race start, let the computer take off. then turn your car perpendicular to the track and block as much as you can. The "AI" will ram you like you arent there. In Forza (both1 and 2) they slow down in advance and do their best to get around you. As for cutting the apex and perfect braking and all that noise..... you can literally fly through the hairpin at Laguna Seca without braking at all, and in mutiple places you can ride the outter wall around the turn faster then you can driving it properly.

I wont lie, I had some fun with GT3 and 4 but neither lived up to what GT shoulda been on the PS2. As soon as I got Forza for the XBOX I stopped playing GT all together, and I only took a break from Forza 1 for a bit to play Project Gotham.

Ive had Forza II for 2 days and I'm driver level 25 with like 35 cars in my garage and a half a million credits.

Debating buying a 360 just for this game..

Wheel + game + core is going to cost me a ton though.

Forza kicks ass, I'm loving the game. It's responsible for breaking my GH2 addiction though :(

its a 1995 GSX, the 2GNT is not an available car in Forza II, even the Eagle Talon is the TSi AWD version

Played it for like 3 hours tonight. Overall pretty fun game, plenty of things to keep you busy, but the physics seem more arcade-like than GT4. You can take corners so fast in this game and not worry about spinning out or anything unlike GT4 where if you take a corner too sharp too fast, you spin. Me and my cousin were playing through the career mode and finished a bunch of races and series and we never even lost one race so it is rather easy so far.

Turn off the assists; Stability control, ABS, and traction control. I know you aren't winning every race with no assists on and the difficulty on hard...cause its freekin hard.

I have the steering wheel, I prefer the controller..and I bought the wheel when it was $149.99 when I thought Forza would be out a lot sooner

We had stability control and traction control off. Only thing left on was ABS.
