We're looking into going to Cozumel for our honeymoon, so I was curious if anyone's gone so we can get an idea of cool shit to check out.

Went there as part of a Carnival cruise when I was younger...had a good time, but can't really give ya exact locations to check out.

It's a honeymoon! All you should be concerned with is a shower and clean sheets. :P

DUDE, My uncle drove all around Mexico when he was a teenager, with his best friend. There are tons of amazing stuff to do, fresh water cave diving, just chilling on the beaches,the jungles, blah blah, just like you see on TV. Ill see if I can get in contact with my uncle, and Ill relay the info. But its a top notch destination if you are mexican and dont have the $$$, now just imagine being an american and having lots of it :thumbsup

I was there for one night because the family and I missed our flight in Cancun and had to grab one the next morning in Cozumel. Didn't really go around the place or anything, but it seemed pretty nice :shrug Definetly wasn't as tourist-like as Cancun, more authentic IMO

Seriously, though, I'm planning on having no plans, but am interested in maybe hitting the mayan ruins and the dolphins, then pretty much anything goes.

It was alright. Although we were only there for 2 nights and spent the first 5 nights in Cancun. Since we saw more of Cancun my opinion might be biased.

While in Cancun, we did the Chitzen Itza tour. That was awsome and I would totally recommend it. We were even stupid enough to climb up the stairs of the pyramid. That in it self was really difficult since the steps are so narrow and elevates quickly. You end up walking up it in a zig zag pattern and sort of inch back down it on your ass. The tour guide made it known of the times she has seen people tumble back down that thought they could walk back down it standing up and strongly suggested to sit on your ass and inch yourself down the steps. It was extremly hot and muggy, while we were there(beginning of August). The bus ride to and from was long so you lose the entire day.

We also took the ferry from Cancun over to Isla Mujeres. Walking around that island was pretty cool as well. Not a whole heck of a lot to see but there were plenty of local shops so we bought a lot of the gifts for friends and family back home from there.

Of course we also walked around Cancun and checked the various local shops and what not. Did a booze cruise as well one night. Can't remember much towards the end of the boat ride since they just liquor your ass up pretty well and fill your glass back up if its empty.

While in Cozumel we didn't do a whole lot during the short stay. Basically did an ATV tour which was cool and that was about it. Bascially stayed around the hotel and relaxed most of the time.

Although, the little fuckers that try to push all the timeshare crap were just as plentyful as they were in Cancun while walking around the local shops, etc.

I went there it was nice but Rotan Hondorus or how ever you spell it, is an awesome place to visit!! you should look into that

I was in Cozumel for a day, and wasn't overly impressed. If you want some where real nice I would say Aruba. I have never been anywhere else that I enjoyed that much.
