I could do nothing else but laugh loudly (in shame) at myself the whole way to the trolley. Either I never do something like that for the rest of my entire natural life, or I make this car decently quick.

stick, i can beat a lot of v6 cars with more hp, i've even kept up with a v8 until we hit about 60 then he blew me away. I'm still waiting to go to the track for numbers.

n/a auto is pretty damn slow. i think i ran an 18.5 or something lol.

ah the days of being beaten by minivans, seems they weren't that long ago. I used to deliberately leave from a light slowly and quietly if there was someone next to me because I didn't want them to think I was actually trying if they heard my exhaust, lol. It worked good for my mpg :D

I suppose you now have some inspiration to boost the car

This was a brand spanking new van, it even had rims on it. Ive been smiling all day just thinking about this, and yes I tried to "race" the van, the lil "homie" gave me the "lets do it look" so I said fuck it, the whole thing lasted less than a block though. I dont even want to check my compression in fear there might be something horribly wrong. :7

I know someone who selling one without an engine in Canada. The funnier thing about my Turbo Caravan is I was just searchin around for fun and I seen one on Auto Trader about an hour from my house. Needless to say I bought it and have loved it since. If you do a search for one on Auto Trader most people won't even know what they have so they just list it as a 4 cylinder Caravan the trick is that if they have the VIN listed then the 8th digit in the VIN is a J then its turboed. I'll be taking my van to the track tomorrow to see if I can woop up on some riceboys.

take your subs out if you have em, remove the spare tire and anything else from the back, fill it with 93 octane, and find that van again. guarantee you walk him :-P

My car feels (thru the butt dyno) so much slower with all that shit in my hatch and 87 octane. But I'll nkow for sure what my cars capable of doing this saturday if its sunny, im going to the track, finally, BANME!!!!

This reminds me of a thing that happened a few days ago. My friends were coming home from a concert in ottawa, when they pull up to a stop light at midnight, no one is around an an empty OC transpo bus pulls up to them. my frend was reving his plymith voyagers engine at the bus so the bus driver reved back. they raced and the bus acctually won. I laughed so hard. when they got to the next stop light the bus driver poped his colar and drove off haha.

yup. Big trucks can carry some punch, I almost jiz my pants when I hear the big ass turbos on big transport vehicles, and imagine how much power it could make on a passenger car.

I'm not guaranteeing a 5-10 hp boost from the gas, I'm not even saying there is any gain. I feel a gain, but I won't be the last to admit that it could all be in my head. But a more explosive gas making 1 or 2 more hp? Is that not feasible? (if it isn't, then jsut say so cuz i'm not an authority on it)

and i guess the poster above has a point, none of this is gonna make a big difference. What you logically should be checking is all the vitals of the car, make sure nothing is drastically taking power away from you.

at the same time its worth a shot for you to do whatever possible, cuz minivans aren't faster then na 2gs :-\
