Wowza, your thread scared me a bit there. I was afraid my little cousin who just got a stickshift camaro, that he doesnt even know how to drive would smoke me... Not even all my "experience" could make up enough to keep up with an 11sec car. But he's is a more recent model, dont know exactly which...

I doubt your cousin swapped an LS6 engine in the camaro though so don't worry. If it's an LT1, it's not to fast, but he could get in some trouble w/ an LS1 (I believe 98+ camaro)

Thanks for the heads up, but like I said, he doesnt even know how to drive it yet :D , he thinks hes so "bad" cuz my aunt got him a shinny new camaro... I like my beat up ol' 2gnt anyways :P

My LT1 when it was stock beat a magnum hemi without any problem. The LT1's have more torque in the bottom end then the LS1, although the LS1 beats it out and is a slighlty better, higher reving motor. Stock LT1 powered cars will walk a stock/NA modded/low boosted 420a any day of the week. A modded one like mine will take pretty much anyone on this board in a 1/4 with a few exceptions. And yes the 98' was the first year the Camaros got the LS1. Aliminum everything compared to just heads not block on the LT.

But he wont smoke me YET since im pretty sure, he'll stall as soon as he gets on the car, now lets hope he crashes it before we ever race, and gets Geo Metro, to learn stick, then we'll see who smokes who.

Sorry for the feelings thing. ;) Yes he probably will stall it or miss a gear, so you should race him NOW!
