21872, renewing windsheild registration sticker (Texas folks) Posted by KaptainMyke, Mar-08-07 02:30 PM
My car's windsheild sticker expired in 2004 haha. Now, when I go attempt to get a new one for 2007, are they going to charge me for 05,06, and 07? Do we have to pay those years "missed" even though I didn't drive this damn thing for that time period? Imma be PISSED if I do have to. Anybody know the answer to this?
I did search for this one, Dino. laffo

Nope. They'll ask, "Has the car been driven in this time?" You say, "Nope! Broken / rebuilding motkr / no money to fix / etc" and you're cool.
Mine was out for a year and a half at one point, that's how my conversation went.

Could remove the old one yourself, clean it up well cause I've seen some horrible stickey crooked stickers in the past with gunk all around them. Tell em you just put in another windsheild and it didn't have one. Shouldn't be a problem. I also like to place the sticker in the window myself so it is straight and level too, but I get it done at my Dad's shop so...it's cool like that, lol.

LOL! I take great pride in my car and don't want some greasy handed mechanic just throwing it up there any kind of way with finger prints all over it. I prefer to keep my car washed/waxed and spotless on the inside. No unessecary stickers, badges, trash or graphics, just simple and clean is all. Little stuff like a crooked ins. sticker bothers me more than it should, I know, but I can't help it. Mechanic installed..
 I installed..
