Hmmm, I also started one of these threads I think like a month or 2 ago about how rediculous some of these newbies truly are.

I mentioned something to be designed on the site to where it explains in detail on how to use the search, how you can get flamed, etc etc etc. I even thought newbies should have to take some kind of quiz to prove they arent as dumb as they type out questions to be.

I just got shot down though and told to calm down.

There's always going to be newbies who want the quick fix and are just too lazy to look for it. Maybe we should have some sort of how-to on the search button when they first join up. It would probably help with at least 60-70% of the newb questions. Otherwise it's just going to keep happening.

Or maybe a requirement that provides they searched for their answer before coming to a conclusion, such as posting a link to another thread addressing a similar problem

Or a quiz that requires them to use the search function to find simple answers before being allowed to post

people are fucking lazy..thats it. there is always a "service" or "company" to do it for them. its like the poor tard i helped a couple weeks ago. his battery terminal had ERODED the fuck off and he couldnt figure out why it wouldnt start. even with his mother helping him jump it off. did i mention he was probably in his 40's?

society is lazy and has lost the will or desire to do anything themselves. and its 1000000000x worse in the cities. i went from the country where you pretty much do it all yourself from plumbing to elecrician to mechanic and engeneer, to a city of ~200K of whick 98% of them dont even know how to jump a car, change a flat, or put oil in the damn car. and were breeding a whole new slothful generation so its only bound to get worse.
