Whats up guys? Havent been on in a while ever since i sold her. The funniest thing is that i got 10000 for it and the girl who bought it turned around and sold it for 5000. I know this because i wrote the insurance policy on it when i sold it to her. lol

Anyway, if anyone cares i have some fun projects going on. I got the crap 3 speed out of my 65 coupe and installed a T5. What a difference! The only mods needed for the swap were, driveshaft, slip yoke and cross member. Next to come for her is will be drum to disc conversion, manual rack & pinion and coil over conversion. But all that is on the back burner for now. Shes my daily driver right now anyway. Yeah, fun! manual everything!

Now, for the fun project. My LT1 had a little valve float(over rev..hehe)and in turn slipped a rocker off its pushrod. Yay. So me and a buddy tore it down to the block. Its getting...
- LT4 hot cam (218/228 112 LSA .525 lift with the 1.6's)
should sound good at idle.
- 1.6 roller rockers
- Springs to match
- Hardened push rods
- New roller lifers
- Electric water pump
- Mild port and polish
- LT4 extreme duty timing set
- long tube headers and off road Y pipe
- k&n intake and elbow
- air foil
- Mail order tune
- bigger gears
- 2800 stall converter
- shift kit
- All new gaskets of course

My goal is to be around the 350rwhp mark N/A and high 11's. Stock only put out 275 at the Crank! I already put on the SLP loudmouth catback a few months ago so its already loud as shit. Cant wait to hear it after the longtubes and cam go in. And god damn, for those of you who know what its like to work on an F-body LT1, knows the shit were going through installing all these goodies. I have more cuts on my hands then ive ever had in my life! No freakin room to work AT ALL! But its fun and it'll be worth it. Well thanks for letting me blab on. Hope you guys are doing well, and i still plan on picking up another 2G in the near future!

Get the LT4 heads......trust me. You cant even come close to porting LT1 heads enough to match the flow of the LT4 heads.

I paid 1200.00 NEW from a dealer in Florida for my LT4 top end back in 2000 for my Z.

If you run emissions the LT4 hot cam will fail unless your tedious with tuning. I ran the ZZ4 cam and got great results.

I know, just cant afford to do the head swap right now. For what im looking for, the hotcam with a mild port will get me there. If i were going to get new heads, id probably go with AFR or trickflows, and if i were going to go extensive port with the LT1 aluminums, id send them out to Elliot lloyd at www.eportworks.com (check it out)and have him do a custom grind cam to match the flow rate of his porting. Im not worried about emissions, Im sending the unit out to PCMforless, the hotcam and long tubes are such a common combo anymore that they can probably tune it spot on. I didnt now you had a Z. What year?
