20591, I'm so frustrated with this...

This guy on hayabusa.org (who's never even owned a busa) claims that by unplugging the gear position sensor, the bike suddenly runs better and is no longer top speed limited. The guy's posts are so incoherent sometimes that I don't bother to read them. Another guy and myself have been going round and round with this guy who claims that because his Kwak ZX14 reacts a certain way that the 'busa reacts that way as well.

Take a look:

Am I completely retarded for believing the way I do, or am I just retarded for entertaining his posts?

You're absolutely correct Luke, you're retarded.

Why bother arguing with a fool? It can only come to no good.

that guy knows EVERYTHING!!! think about it, since he's right, that means my 600rr ecu will plug into my 420a and then i'll have a 15,000 red line!!! god this guy has just made everything in life so simple.

but serious, i feel your pain. the whole reason he's probably on busa.org is because he has a zx-14 and wants to relate with other over 1000 cc bikers. besides, i'd love to see his chicken strips on that thing. my 600rr (miss her) was only a 180 rear compared to the 190's on most 1000 cc and up bikes but god it was like being on a rail. the littlest flick and she's all the over on the edge...i miss track days :(

but yeah, guys a tool, his bike is descent, but all in all he should do his homework/research first.

later

Luke, this guy is a complete idiot. I don't know bikes, so I can't say for sure if his info is false, which it seems it is by all the people refuting it, but he just seems like an overzealous guy that needs to prove himself, and he thinks he has to do it with long winded posts, and big words that he dosen't understand.

My question is, why hasn't that thread been locked or something. He has gone wayy off track. If it were me, I'd trash that thread. Unless it's there for the sake of someone searching for his info, so they can see it's false...

Hell yeah, already signed up for the track day at MSR Houston on 3/3. I have a 190/50 with less than 1/4" of chicken strips left, but once it's done, I'm going to a 190/55. That 50 is too rounded and hard to pull down, especially on a such a big bike. I raised the ass 1" in hopes to make it more flickable.

Yeah, that guy's a complete tool, he even crashed his 13.5 (ZX14's only 1352cc) somewhere in between starting the thread and now.

Well, once I get the dyno time to test the 'theories' (a mod is helping me fund the time), I'll ask the mod to delete all the posts so we can only post the results to either prove or disprove his idiotic theories.

Nice! :order Somehow that sounds like something you would do. Probably won't stop him but it will show anyone who gave him the benefit of the doubt, to.....um, doubt!

The guy's still posting in that thread even though everyone chose to ignore him. You should look at the second video he made and posted with "ENOUGH PROOF".

It took a great deal of self control to not respond with something to the effect of 'yeah, that you need to be medicated'.
