20410, keeping promises Posted by goalie40, Jan-28-07 06:35 AM
first off I got my car way back in 98. I have put less than 600 in repairs in that time. 200 of that was a brake job. She has been sitting for almost 8 months I couldnt get her legal in hawaii. My bank will not give me the title because they said I didnt pay my last 2 payments. I paid it the day before I shipped it here, and I have the paper work to prove it. Its fixed now just waiting for my title.
After 8 months of sitting I started her up and drove her to her new house and for the first time out she drove strong no smoke no nothing. Just like she was parked overnite. even the battery was charged. Out of all the cars I have had she has been the best by far. and after almost 11 years of happy ownership. I was able to come threw on a promise I made her, she got to sleep in a garage. :cheers
The funny thing she seemed fast. Well compaired to the jeep grand cherokee I have been driving.
Its a good day.

awsome. such the opposite of mine. i've got almost 20k invested but now there isn't a functional part with more than 20k miles on it. the engine only has 1300 on it right now. happy motoring.
