oh yeah and would 350 Hp even be possible without forged rods and pistons on this vtech prelude?

Not likely unless it was a seriously good tune at like 10-12psi. But the h22 is a force to be reckoned with when boosted. Especially in a del sol like my buddy.
No way in hell is he putting that much power to the grouns with the above mods :shrug
EDIT: and it's more embaressing to state a HIGH hp for your car when it's actually kinda slow.....like if a stock 2g will keep up with it.....lol it's slow.

I work with 2 guys who own 3 92-96 preludes between the them, one with an H22 and two with H23s and they are quick for a bolt on car, but by no means FAST, and no where near 350, 210-215 stock, and one of them also has an accord with an H22 swap that I hung with N/A. ----------------------------------- 97 RS-T, STAR Stage 2, HAHN FMIC, Decah Lambo Doors, 19" Axis Hiros, Built 420a -----------------------------------

If he knew Greg, I don't think he would have asked this question :P

I raced a guy with a late VTEC Prelude a few years ago with our bone stock Spyder GS-T, well it did have 18" Konig Monsoons. The Lude had pulleys, wires, and some sort of intake. I think the exhaust was stock. I had him good off the line and pulled a car length, when his VTEC kicked in he almost gained that back, then we stayed pretty even the rest of the 1320' with me winning by maybe a fender. It was a good race for a couple of slow cars. :) I was lucky to get him off the line as good as I did, cause I suck it launching FWDs. I knew if I didn't beat him off the line that it would be impossible for the T25 to catch him. Our 2gnt (intake, cat-back, pulley, wires, 18" rims) stays even with the Spyder from a roll, but it's a pooch from a dead stop.

he's obviously lying about hp numbers especially if he has no form of forced induction or nitrous. however I would still think you probably won't be able to take him unless if your a much better driver, i know I couldn't take my friends 2001 lude before I was boosted, never had a chance to race him after I got my turbo because he had picked up a 1g awd eclipse before I got it. Although I had some shitty runs at the track I was still able to do better than a prelude with similar mods to my friends.

10's in the 8th? lol, thats only in the 15's and for a car that supposedly has 350hp, that is complete garbage.
