I still cannot decide what to get her... obviously, being a girl, she is very difficult to shop for. She is one of those people who say "you don't need to get me anything" when presents are involved. I was thinking about an iPod nano, but was wondering what ya'll are getting your girlfriends for Christmas.

hmm, according to a book i read on this electronics/gadgets are not the best choice for the ladies. I got something for the girl im going out with, Its a "cuddle wrap" a mix between a blankie and a scarf with her name embroidered on it. I know u mught need to get her something "stronger" per say since i dont know how long u guys been going out and stuff, but Ive been with Val for about a month...so something TOO big would not be good. check out the place where i got the thing www.pajamagram.com , just make sure its something "unique" that u cant just go to any store and grab off the shelf. e.g. an embroidered "cuddle wrap" :)

Well, we have been going out for 2 years. Maybe you're right, maybe I should get something unique and not the iPod... she doesn't even mention ever getting one.

If your realy at a loss, my failsafe is a gold necklace. You can usually get something simple and sweet for about 150.00 at your local chain of JCpenney or Sears. Not sure what your looking to spend.

For around 500.00 you can usaully get her a nice ring.

Three things:

1) One of those chair massager things, the one that's full length, from the thighs to the neck. She can sit in it and relax with it being heated and massaging. You can put it on the couch, recliner, lay on it in bed, or in a desk chair. They're like $40 at wally world.

2) One of those massage kits with the back roller, bath scrubbers, salts, scents, oils, and whatever else. Typically like $20.

3) Candles.

Roll it out like this, give her the massager and explain it's for those stressful days when she gets home she can relax, then once she's relaxed, she can take a nice bath with all that crap, that's candle-lit. Then, wild rough, rowdy sex when she's done with the bath and all relaxed.

I got my girl friend at the time, now as ex, a nano for her birthday. I got her favorite color, loaded all of her favorite songs on there, put pictures of us together from the summer, and put in back in the package like it was never opened. Electronic or not, she liked it, and other girls thought it was unique, or as they put it, "so cute."

I'm the same way with mine. I got lucky though, my girlfriend picked out a $5k ring at her sister's jewelry store and I only ended up paying $1600 for it.

i hand made a pearl necklace and bracelet for my girl :) its one of a kind, and she loves it! you really dont have to do something extravagandent (sp?) , just something simple and unique, they feel special that way.

I'm so glad my girl didn't let me buy her a 5 thousand dollar ring.

thats dumber than buying a new vehicle off of the car lot nowadays :P

I ended up spending 1600 but thats not the big deal. she picked out the ring ove many others :P

I told my girlfriend that her laptop cost me internals and her jeep I helped pay for cost me a turbo kit.

I gave her a list of parts that I want With a written note stating. I accept no cash only car parts as repayment. Its cool that my chick loves my car as much as I do. She did my rear $15 camber mod, I just handed her the tools.

hmm, im deciding as well. we havent been together that long but i know things that she likes..im really torn between 2 things. i know she loves pink and fuzzy. shes is the more pampered type and enjoys comfort. but she also LOVES butterflies..esp jewlrey. so its either

a) maybe some pink fuzzy slippers with a basket full of stuff from bath and body works

b) some kind of butterfly jewlrey

I would have, however, that is only available if you order the nano off of Apple.com. Didn't want to wait for it to ship out, and if the unlikely were to happen, I wouldn't be able to return it.

I bought the girlfriend a night in a cottage over looking a lake at a nearby state park. She will see the champagne, etched keepsake glasses, and chocolates (all set up by the park service) as she walks in the door. The cottage is fully supplied w/ fireplace, microwave, cable, kitchenette, the works.




also have access to the lodge for swimming and game room:

She got me a Spalding backetball that said she is taking me to the Mavericks game January 10th againt Portland; I'm so excited! Huge Mavericks fan. She also got me a new Dremel. :-)
