My old room mate and his friends did that to his cat and it had a seizure ended up with brain damage and died. Needless to say he spent 90 days in jail, 3 of his friends got 200 hours community service and 4 years probation for animal cruelty. He got the jail time cause he was the owner of the animal and let them do it. They all got some sort of momentary fines, Im not sure what the amount was, but I had to find a new roommate after that.

The cat is not dizzy or drunk as you state. They have fluid pouches in their head between their ears that help them keeps their balance along with their whiskers. Its all connected neurologically. When you spun the cat like that all the fluid rushed to one side and put the cats nuero system into overload because it couldnt tell whats was up, down, left, or right. Thats why my room mates cat had a seizure.

Im not a big cat fan, but no animal deserves to be treated like that. Someone should spin you around like that for a few mins and see how you like it.

That was really fucked up how long he spun that cat around for. Whenever I'd do it to my cat, it was just a couple times pretty slow just screwing around with him.

Yep, that's fucked up. I love cats and that's just wrong. Pitchblack98 said it best, they can get seizures from that. I've spun cats around on slick floors before but nowhere near to that extent. A couple cats absolutely loved it, the others not so much so I never did it to them anymore after the first time.
That cat may not be the same kitty ever again. :(

I agree 100%. First you say its your cat and its your friends... now you are backpedalling and saying its "beth's" cat and "her brother". Lame. The only reason someone would post a video like that on the internet is for attention because they thought it was cool/funny. Note it didn't say poor cat, or animal cruelty video, but drunk cat.

So I guess no one is entitled to their opinion then, or that your opinion is somehow more valid than theirs? Just b/c I didn't respond with some long drawn out defense of my opinion doesn't mean I was somehow intimidated by those who didn't think it was funny. Maybe you should consider it a difference of opinion and not take yourself so seriously when it comes to such things.

FWIW, I found it amusing that the cat was kinda f'd up when it tried to stand up. This was before I was educated to the fact that it could have killed the poor thing. That was an interesting fact that I wasn't aware of. I still f'n hate cats and will always think they are stupid lazy animals but that doesn't mean they deserve to be cruelly handled.

I love cats, & have always had one in my house since I have been on my own.

If my living situation permitted it I would have another. Regardless of my own feelings of them, however, it does annoy me when people do shit like that. I admit if I saw someone doing that, regardless of how much alcohol was in my blood, I would not hesitate to put them in their place.

i think the points gotten across fairly well that what happened was just stupid and unfortunate. but having an experience myself (albeit not nearly as bad as the cat's) with your drunk friends, i think you need to reconsider who you value as friends. a friend would never disrespect or permanently damage your property.

basically, one time, ashalee's "friends" were drunk at her place and they IMed me and told me they wanted to fuck me (pretending to be ashalee)...it was no big deal, and i found it kinda funny. but after seeing this, i think your friends are retarded and deserve to be taught a serious life lesson. people like that are what bring the world down. and i hope you're not like them. you said they're constantly in and out of your house. do they not respect YOUR home?? do you not care for privacy in YOUR home? if i want to hang out with my friends i can go to a bar, and occasionally i can have people over, or the occasional party. i would never tolerate people constantly going in and out of my house that have no respect for my property. i bet they eat yoru food, drink your alcohol and use up all your household items too. ashalee, i always thought you were cool, and i still think you probably are, but seeing people do this to your cat and the way you describe how you live with your friends, and being that this isn't the only time they disrespected your property, i begin to question your values also.

This might be a late response but I just have to say something after seeing this. That guy spinning the cat deserves to die. Oh wait that is a cruel and unusual punishment. What some one needs to do is put this guy on a carousel and chain him so he would be able to run away or slip away. Wrap a 1/4mile long cable or a rope around the carousel connect the free end to your 2gnt and test your 1/4 mile I want to see the mother fucker walk after that spin. Don’t forget to take a video and post it on the net.

Don't waste your time, I decided to read everything first and than watch the clip. After I was done reading I was like those motherf#$% and I would just move on but after I saw the video I just had to write something. Some guy with a bold spot torture and I mean torture the cat; he forces him on floor spins him for 20 sec violently @ about 60 rpm. As cat is trying to regain it's balance it can't even get off the floor Cat does not look drunk at all it looks hurt and shakes it's head involuntary and can’t get up cuz they span it for so long. As cat regains conches ness it sees the guy that just span him and is terrified of him. Cat is trying to back up form him but he only can back paddle while still on the floor cuz he is still unable to get up. Luckily in a short time it regains it's sense of balance get's up and steams away I am sure it was bumping in to walls and stuff on it's way but what a moronism. Terrible video!

i came up with another punishment for that moron in the video, force him to try to spin a tiger like that. Put a tiger on a spinning platform force the moron in to the same cage and tell him to spin the tiger or he gets a shotgun salt round in to his ass. And than I want to see what an angry tiger gonna do to that mofo. Lion will work also.

one of the reasons I am so angry, once I was driving home with my family after a concert. Than I see something lying on the street I have a fairly good vision I recognize it's a kitten sitting in the middle of the street I go around him pull over immediately and run back. He apparently been struck by a car he could only move his upper body. Than I made a mistake I picked him up and moved him to the curb, I have probably moved something inside as I put him down he took his last stretch on the ground and passed away in my hands. He had exactly the same look in his eyes before he passed away as that cat in the video.
