Keeping my fingers crossed, hopefully I'll be back in the DSM world soon. A friend of a friend is getting rid of his 91 Eclipse AWD... wish it was a talon but oh well. Thats minor and could be changed. He is selling it for $600, but my friend says he'll probably let it go for $400 since he really needs money quick. It is supposed to be in pretty good shape, minus a little transmission problem, and a dead battery. But he says it runs and drives. I guess we'll wait and see.

Oh yeah, almost forgot... it has a 16G turbo, and a 2.5" buschur racing catback... and I think it comes with an uninstalled FMIC.

Why the hell are you posting about it and not out in your driveway taking pics to show us the great deal you just got? Go buy the damn thing already. Even better, tell me where it is so I'll have a nice winter beater that I can triple my money on in the spring. ;)

Talked to the guy today... he said the engine needs rebuilt... the rings are bad, and it's burning oil. Still seems like a good deal, pending a look over it to make sure it isn't a rat infested , rusted out junker. Waiting for the guy to call me back to let me know when i can come see it.
edit: oh yeah, it has a pretty new ACT clutch too

well he was in the process of fixing it up, but i think he ran out of funds, so i dunno. Still trying to get ahold of him so I can go take a look at it.
