This past weekend I went on a 3 day kayaking trip. It was a beginning kayaking class (PE class needed hours...) Anyway it was with 20 other college students. The point of this thread is that it was alot of fun and thought some of you might want to do it if you havn't already. We arrived on friday and got a few hours in. Then Saturday about about 1/4 way down the river there was a HUGE thunderstorm and the wind was so strong the rain stung hitting the back of my neck. There were class 3 rapids (not too bad but for a first timer they seem pretty intimidating). I ended up flipping twice in rapids, one time resulted in nearly smaking my face on rocks. Sunday was the opposite of saturday. It was HOT as shit and my face and hands got burnt (wore a long sleeve shirt). So anyway it was fun and I plan on doing it again sometime.
