12001, I hate them so much...

... when they make me feel this way.

Damn you...

All i can smell on me is you, slightly sweet and heady, terribly distracting and a constant reminder. All i can think about are the goosebumps i felt come up under my hands when i touched you, the feel of your skin and the familiar curves of your body. All i can remember are the sly glances and oft-remembered smiles you gave me, uncertain, unsure, unrequited, reminicent of so many times before. Why do I do this to myself?

I miss you.

Why did I have to see her tonight?

Everything happens for a reason.
If you miss her, call her in a couple days. If she missed you, SHE'LL ask to see you again.
Keep in mind, I don't know details on who she is or why you're not with her anymore. I do remember you talkin about some psycho chick before. If that was who you just saw, go bang some other chick and go back to trying to forget about her.

The fact she was hung up on an ex and they're together now plays a big part. Story of my life... Apparently i just like to put myself in situations that end in unsatisfying ways.

*sigh*

I hear you man. Hows this one:
I fall for a "married women".
She has feelings for me.
She then tells me not to waste my time waiting for her.
I get married to someone else.
I find out my wife and I aren't compatable.
Feelings never went away for "married girl".
I find out the "married one" doesn't just have "feelings" but loves me too.
Now, we're both stuck married to people we don't love and are miserable. She's asian and my wife is asian so divorce is NOT an easy thing for either of us. That's why she told me not to wait. Now she says she regrets ever telling me that. :wallbash
This all started 5-6 years ago. And I've now been married for 3. x(

s'not funny at all.. it's sad, and that really sucks. I can only imagine how bad that must be.

She sat there and told me she missed all the little ways I appreciated her, told me bad things that have happened between him and her... and in geeneral, made me feel like I was being used as a quick ego boost because he wasn't paying any fucking attention to her.

...and she just wrote me and said "Seeing you last night told me that there is still something there."

I feel your pain man. But lets put it this way ... a way that I've started trying to see. If she really felt that strong about you ... is it really all that hard to make that decision to try and make it work. Would you really have that hard of time making that decision for her?

Dino you seem to live in a circle of a life. Sorry man. I once wanted so hard to be like a friend that i have that lives in AZ now. He can easily say "Oh well" or "thats fine, get out" to any G/F if things arent right. He honestly has little to no remorse and accept no pain. I thought for a long time it was just an act before us guys. It wasnt and he hold no ill feeling towards any ex girlfriend. Kind of an admirable quality, but the grass is always greener on the other side. I am that person to an extent now and it doesnt make anything any better. Pain takes on so many different forms, from anger and hatred to just plain simple missing someone.

My advise to just plain work towards moving on. You dont have to power to forget but you do have the ability to never see her. Seeing her from time to time is only going to prolong the agony.

There is a lot of work to be done on your car with only 1 month to go. Focus on the important parts of life. She isnt one of them.

i say be carefull with that. women have a way of knowing just how to jerk your chain...esp if your still hung up on her. my ex pissed our relationship away being a stupid cunt. then she isnt happy with her abusive b/f who is old enough to be her father. and she has told me how much she misses me and all that BS. but its kinda funny...thats only when they are fighting. otherwise i can pound sand.

if you meant THAT much...then they wouldent have left you for trivial shit. their only sorry cuz they know they fucked up and they want someone to take them under their wing. i know first hand the hurt...but your better off. if you let her keep jerking you along..she will own you..and she knows this.

stay strong...things will look up. i never thought they would after what happened..and its taken close to 2 years, but its very doable and youll thank yourself in the long run

Wow Im going thru an exact situation but the best thing is honestly to just try to move on and get over the girl. Once you are over them FOR GOOD (Which obviously you are not) things have a way of working out for themselves. You will either realize that she was not the right girl for you, or you may end up back together, or you may find someone you love and are more compatible with that doesn't treat you bad and leave you for an ex-bf.

Here's the deal: If you put it on the line, if you tell her how you feel and what you want and she comes back with, "It's not you. It's me." Then she is 100% correct. I've recently had this confirmed to the point of having absolutely no doubts about that. Yes, there are girls out there who might use this phrase as a weak, generic, cop out, but in the end, you gotta know it's true. If you can lay it all on the line and let her know that this is what you want and that you want to be with her and she's going to shoot you down, then you can walk away from things and do whatever the fuck you want because you were honest and forthright with her. She is the one who will have to wonder, every time her life hits the shitter, if she didn't fuck up big time for passing up on an opportunity for something real like that.

Your being miserable about things right now is just building character or something. Take a step back and focus on doing things that make you happy. Work on projects and aspects of your own life that you know you can see to fruition. Set some simple goals for yourself in other aspects of your life - the car, the truck, the career, whatever. Don't let some flakey chick, regardless of how you feel about her, have so much an affect on your feelings of self-worth and accomplishment. Give yourself a couple simple projects to do that you can bust out successfully to help build yourself back up. Prove to yourself, on whatever psychological level, that you know what you're doing and you're no fuck up. You're feeling sad because you can't have something you want - being with someone you care about and with whom you enjoy spending time. It's easy to lose sight of the other aspects of your life that make you who you are and successful.

Never give up. Never allow your sense of worth and purpose be dependent upon the fragile psyche of another person. You can't truly love someone else until you can love yourself.

i do agree with what brian said, about the whole "laying it out and see how she takes it". even when i just moved up here my ex was callin and wantin to get back together. i told her what i wanted..and what i was and wasnt going to do. i didnt have the cash to support her and everything like this jerkoff does..and i told her that. and not only could i not..but i wouldent...because she hasnt proven anything to me. never heard another single word outta her. having s sugar daddy was more important than a relationship to her....therefore, i had my answer and i have moved on completley. and yup...once you move on things WILL happen. they sure are for me!

Forget all that, and I'm saying this from perspective of a guy in love and most likely going to marry the girl I'm with, THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS "THE ONE"!!! Thats just bullshit made-up by Hollywood and Hallmark to sell their wares. There's a million different girls out there, and though they are all unique individual snowflakes (just pick a frickin' cliche), any girl you fall in love with is going to have a counterpart the next block over. There is no such thing as a girl that is 'different than all the rest', you just haven't found the rest if you think that way. There's another girl like the one you fell in love with out there, probably a thousand like her, and of that thousand at least a hundred are going to be loyal and worth seeing. It's the 'there's other fish in the sea' BS, just keep throwin your line out and you'll snag one. Or better yet just play the field, the more chicks you date, the better you'll get at it, the more fun you'll have, and the less you'll be thinking about this broad.

also, dont turn to drugs for the answer. Its fun to joke about it, but addiction can latch on to you and never let go. watch an episode of "Intervention" on A&E if you want to see what I mean.

I agree also with giving it all you got so in the end you know inside it was either meant to be or not.

I have a friend that kind of fits your situation.

He was always the "nice" guy to girls and they'd sleep with him, date him for a few weeks, then leave him. Usually a few months later they'd come back saying how nice he was and they missed him and then they'd do the same shit to him again. It fucked his head up so fuckin much too.

He finally met a girl who is hot (he's kind of ugly so now clue how he did this) and has a good job, very very nice, and very loyal. They are getting married after dating for about 2 years now and are still happy as can be.

Moral of the story - don't waste your time on stupid bitches who fuck with your head.

Seriously. I wasted time from when I was 15-19 of my teenage years letting a bitch fuck with my head, when I coulda been out hooking up with other girls. Drugs were more important to her, and she played the "I love you, but I'm not in love with you" card.

Now shes 21, has a 1 year old son, and a lowlife in and out of jail boyfriend. I can't tell you how many times she's emailed me and said that she was so stupid and wishes she would have done things different. How pathetic.

Seriously.

Quoted for greatness.

It doesn't matter if the chick is intentionally making a game out of fucking with your head or if she's just one of those who doesn't know what the fuck she wants in life - maybe she feels like she never got that chance to just be a free spirit and prance about like some kind of princess and she freezes up everytime the two of you get to that point where it feels like things could go to that next level - for whatever reason, she lets you get up to that point and then she pulls the plug on you - dropping the subject, walking away, laying on the old guilt trip, etc..

What does this say about you, as a guy? Nothing. You are logical. You are rational. You know what you want and you're going after it. All the signs point to "Yes," but she's still got to think about it, even though she sure as hell enjoyed the ride thus far.

In this situation, you need to be perfectly honest with her and tell her how you feel and why you feel that way - you want something, in this case, a relationship, and you've been getting all the right signals that it's possible, but then she freaks out and pulls away. That's a great way to make a man, any man, lose his mind.

So you tell her, flat out, I want to be with you. I want to make this work. I'm ready to take the next step, but everytime we get to that point where it feels like something is going to happen, you pull away and it's making me insane. If you want to be with me, now is the time to make your decision. Either we make something happen, or I have to walk. (Using "have to" implies the decision is made for you.)

At this point, she's going to either snap out of the fantasy land and you break through this wall of illogical psychosis and onward to happiness and contentment, or she's going to make it all about her in some way - crying, anger, indifference, whatever - then you have your closure. You'll see her true colors and you can get on with your life, a free man.

So long as you approach this with sincerity and honesty right from the start, not wanting to instigate an argument or perpetuate the drama, so long as you really make that effort to get to the bottom of the issue as maturely and emphatically as possible, if she denies you in any way, you can simply walk away from her and her antics knowing you've got a hot date with beautiful woman named Karma.

Salvage your pride, take stock in the rest of your life and your friends and don't let some shit like this bring you down. You tried, God damnit.

"Devil Woman" (Phunk Junkeez)
"Fuckin' bitch.
Pissin' me off.
You hurt my feelings!
You fucked my friends!
I'm buying cigarettes
and I don't even smoke!
What the fuck, bitch!
I hope you choke!"

He can do that because he has not met the one, when he has things will go down different. I was just like your friend when I was in college. You get bored and you move on to random party chick #27 #28 #29 and so on.

I have been with the same girl now 3 years and would go to hell and back for her. (and I have)

if it makes you feel any better Dino, I had an RPG ricochet 3 ft away from me and then detonated 20ft above my head. I ran around with a juicy turd in my pants until the fire fight was done. about an hour later. Trust me, when you think it's bad, remember that it can be worse.
