Anyone had to deal with farmers / have farmers insurance?

the person who hit my car has farmers and they are being ever so slow about getting my car fixed. Also, i feel as if they are trying to back out on fixing my car. Please share your experiences if any with farmers...

I was hit by a friend of mine back when i drove my celica. He was driving his girlfriends car. He was insured by farmers, so was she. They went back and forth on who was going to have to pay for damages, him, because he was driving, or her, because it was her car. It was effin rediculous, either way farmers had to pay for it, they should have just figured out the details later. I drove around with a smashed quarter panel, and cracked bumper for about 2 months before they cut me a check.

They do that because they make money. The longer they take to cut a check the more money they make
