I need help finding a way to confirm that an email is read. I know back in the old days AOL used to tell you when another AOL user had read your email. I am sending an important letter to someone and want to make sure that she reads it because she does get a lot of junk email.

I tried www.pointofmail.com but it didnt work. Sent a test email and read it, but it never showed up as being read.

cant its a really long email to an exgf that had wrote me a week ago. I don't want to call her, but want to make sure she reads it.

Send it, then prolly text her if she got an email from ya. Hehe, dunno if that'll work. Myspace too I guess? I know Microsoft outlook has a feature like that, although I doubt she has that setup.

Well if you Use MS outlook then you can do a delivery confirmation and a Read/Open confirmation.

e-mail, and text, and write a snail mail. Then at 4am on a tuesday morning drunk dial her and sob to her voice mail. Make sure you are watching through her window every night to see if she's reading your e-mail too..

I think without a doubt the only way to know if she reads your email is stalking. I usually do some light stalking and then end up with the good stuff while hovering over them while they sleep with an asthma inhaler at the end to top it all off.....Good times..

Why don't you send it, then ball up and call her and ask her to meet you somewhere to talk. Best thing to do is say whatever it is in person, face to face, that way any problems and miscommunications can be taken care of right then and there. I'm not suggesting aggresion at all, just be a man and take care of it. If she won't read your e-mail or talk to you, she's not worth your time, move on and find another. If she has your stuff and won't give it back, call the police or find legal actions to get it back, don't screw around with highschool games, it'll get you nowhere.

Its not that I want her back or anything like that.

I just don't want to talk to her and she sent me an email so Im not going to reply to it with a phone call if she doesnt deem it important enough to call me. Main reason is that she gets a TON of spam mail and even when we were together a couple times she didn't get my emails when I was out of the country because they would get burried in the spam or whatever.

Just wanted to know: ok she read it, my part here is done. Instead of thinking that she never got my response if I never heard back from her.

However, I havent even sent a reply back yet and probably wont.
