Soooooooo........thought I should post up for the "full circle effect".

Ok, after that last call-out on the Corporate Kid lying, all my contacts dried up, lol. I couldn't get anywhere with anybody. They all directly, or indirectly, sent me right back to this kid in corporate. So apparently, if you call them out at corporate, that seems to be the stopping point.

Not that I'm giving up pushing this up to the Board, but I needed to make a move on the car or we would just be spinning our wheels .

So under the heading of "Devil you know" I went back to this same dealer, to see what kind of deal we could hammer out and where I would stand with timing on the car. Well the timing part we already knew, the car would be pushed to the head of the line (verified by the GM Regional Sales Manager who has earned trust). As of 6/22 the car they ordered (in case I went with them} was 3000 (order accepted by production control) with a TPW (Target production week) of 7/18 (first day they get back to work from shut down).

So I sat down with the dealer, and though I don't like telling the specifics of a deal (out of respect for both parties), I'll say the deal was certainly financially fair (I don't think I could ever get "satisfactory" out of this whole situation because of the past but from what I see on the dealer cost sheet - posted on Camaro5 -, financially, I can have no complaints). In addition the initial salesman is long out of the picture. So at that point, I made the decision to go with that dealership to at least purchase the car.

Of course, then I find out my TPW was pushed up to 7/25 on 6/29 with a 3300 placement(Order Selected and Scheduled for Production by Assembly Plant - Target Production Week usually available now)
lol. But I'm now at 3400 broadcast (Order Broadcasted for Production - Internal Plant Order Produced)
with a TPW of 7/25, so I'm thinking I may be ok now.

Jesus, all this just because someone didn't want to be up front and honest..........
