I tend to turn mine down about 3 blocks away from home as well as put the screen down as at night going down the street it emits that TV glow that ppl can see and becomes very attractive to the right eyes. Id like to think of it as decent. It consists of: Dual XDVD 8181 7 inch flip out, Sony 800 watt Amp, 2 Sony 12" subs in one of those eclipse hatch cut boxes. It makes my sunroof glass and brackets rattle, it can be heard a few blocks away according to my parents, lol. I try not to go around town toolbagging my system away, but I like to hear bass now and then. But I always turned it off before I got to my road, I like in a pretty bad neighborhood.
