you will need a spring compressor for the front springs, but the back ones you will not.

You will not need a spring comp to put them on. The after market springs are lower than the stocks so you will not need to compress them, I don't think. :)

hehe.. i would second that with a recomend that you use a spring compressor with at least the front springs.. for the most part you may only need the compressor for taking off the front stock springs. i know cause i did both my shocks and springs myself.. :-)

I didnt use a spring compressor for my prokit and KYB AGX that I did 2 weeks ago. Just on the fronts put it on the ground lay it on its side and let the nut go flying off.

Thanks:)

I guess I wasn't as worried about getting them aff as I was on.

I rented one for 24 hours for $6, I'll have it if I need it. Either way I'll post for others.

we got my stock springs off by tying them in rope and then unbolting it and then cutting the rope in the grass. But then i ended up making a run to Autozone and got the spring compressor because i thought i needed it to install the aftermarket springs. I didnt need it though. It can easily be done without the compressor.

haha.. are you talking about that little hollow cylinder on the back stock shocks.. almost thought that thing would ever come off.. but just kept wacking at it and attempting to twist it with some pliers and it came off.
