9704, will 18's with HR Sports rub?
Posted by nevercontent, May-29-02 08:44 AM
yeah so i just got a set of 18x7.5 rims by sheer luck that the kid lived near me, saw em on ebay. anyway i had already ordered H&R sport springs. according to most everyone the front will settle to about 2" and the back around 1.7". do you think the rims will rub the fender or what? thanks

The sports drop the front 1.7 inches and the rear 1.4 inches so I dont think you will have a problem. The H&R racers drop 2 in the front and 1.7 in the rear. I still dont think they would rub, but you might have to roll the fenders in a lil. So if you are positive you ordered the sports then no sweat.

yeah i knew they state a 1.7 and 1.4 drop but from what i've read on here, the springs settle to about 2 in the front and 1.7 in the back, oh well, i guess i'll have to wait and see. thanks anyway
