9378, New rotors and abs Posted by Insomniac, May-14-02 04:57 AM
My rotors are apparently warped and I was considering buying slotted or cross-drilled ones. Problem is, I have abs and I'm not sure if the rotors can be replaced by simply unbolting the old ones and bolting on the new ones.
I'm just curious if anyone else with abs has replaced their rotors without having to replace the drive shaft assembly as the Chilton's manual seems to indicate...
Thanks.

you can replace the rotors just like a car without, no problems the abs wont affect the rotor at all, same rotor as the non abs version, just the calipers pulse when applied
