Since I need to get new Front Rotors and don't want to spend a fortune for the AEM Kit nor the $99.00/each OEM rotors I was quoted for.

I was thinking of getting either Powerslot or some other similar brand. (I'm willing to spend $125 each) Why pay the same amount for OEM when you can get better High Performance Aftermarket parts - right.

Then I saw these on Ebay. What do you guys think. There made for the 2G Front Wheel Drive Eclipse and I have a 98 Eclipse Spyder GS (The only thing that suck is the Rear Brakes are Drum - Not worth the Money to switch to rotors unless I can get someone to do the installation for cheap...What is considered cheap anyways - Beside FREE. LOL.

(These are from a Miata but the Eclispe are the same except it's a 5 lug instead of 4 lugs)

What's better? Slotted or Cross Drilled or combination of both?

Any advice would be great.

if you want cheap rotors you can get cross drilled and slotted rotors from RSpeed.com for like 80 bux a pair. That's where I'm getting my rotors from when I do my dual piston caliper conversion.

First decide if you want slotted or cross-drilled rotors. For slotted, I recommend Power Slot. For cross-drilled, either Brembo or Power Stop is pretty good.

I runn KVR cross-drilled rotors, they used wilwood blanks and cross drilled them, the holes are chamfered so as not to tear up the pads as they wear. I'm very happy with them. I bought them at http://www.spmotorsports.com As soon as I convert my rear drums to discs, I have KVRs for the rear too. Also using KVR pads. Thanks to DeanoD for the advice on these pads, I'm very pleased.

any of these rotors will do well, i like powerslots since they are not alot of money and they arew brembo blanks, but any aftermarket that is of good quality will be better than stock

make sure you use a good aftermarket pad too, I use the porterfield r4s pads (alot of autocross guys swear by them) they are more expensive than your typical metal masters and such, but I thinkthey are worth it

I'd go with powerslots or some other name-brand, and i would avoid crossdrilling, unless its like ebc/raceconcepts which are not drilled from end to end, just "dimpled".
The reason i say to go with name brand is they will probably last longer. I persoanlly have powerslot in front and raceconcepts in back, the powerslots where more expensive but they are a lot thicker.

Ya they do. Which is why I went with powerslots even though I could get the brembo's cross drilled/slotted at wholesale. I got my powerslots front pair from RRE for 150.

www.advancedracingdynamics.com brembo rotors. The price was like 1 something per pair if they still have that deal going on. I think they told me like 215-225 for all 4 if I remember right. That's if u have a gs, or do the rear disc conversion.

heh well here's my crazy braking plan, that I wanna get done sometime this year.

Dual Pistons calipers, (in the mail and I already got the bracket cleaned and painted black already :) )

RSversion front cross drilled and slotted rotors for 70 bux

Raceconcepts rear cros drilled slotted rotors for 80 (I saw them on an auction, hope they're still autctioning them off, I emailed the dude selling them an it's straight from raceconcepts and said to mail him whenever I wanted some rotors)

RRE Stainless Steel Brake lines 80 bux, brake lines are 7 years old O_o

Motul 5.1 racing brake fluid probably gonna cost me 30 bux

And I got some mitsu pads on ebay for like 20 bux with the shims so I guess those'll be used for now and my rear pads are still good so gonna re-use em, probably just sand em down a little to get some new pad in there and just in case theres some glazing.

Is this a good deal or is there something better out there. I have 17x7 5 Zigen FireBall in Hyper-Black Rims w/ Kumho 712 225/45/17 tires. I was wanting a bigger rotor then stock but can't afford the AEM or BAUER Kit. Just want to upgrade my fron rotors for now and my back are still drums.
