Whats going on, I'm gettin 18x8.5 wheels with a 35mm offset and 215/40/18 tires. do you guys know if this fitment will fit nicely with no rubbing. I'm also getting coilovers to drop the car a bit, how do u feel that will play in to the whole rubbing deal. I appreciate any help you can give me. Thanks

Not 100% shure, but I could have sworn sumbody said that as long as the it is 8" or more wider yur fine. Yur at 8.5 so...I dont know, try searching...im shure you will find it

depends slightly on a few other factors but im pretty sure you will see some rubbing. my wheels rub everything lightly (my springs, my inner fenderwell, my fender itself, etc) the lower offset will help keep you from rubbing inner portions of the car but if youre lowered more than 1.5" the lower offset is gonna throw your tires (assuming they are 225's or wider) right into your fender...if you can get them, either take the offset above 40mm or bring the width down to 8" or less.

i'm running 18 X 8 on 225/40/18's on a 2 inch drop and so far, everything is cool. actually settled to around 2.5 but still no scrubbing. the rear is damn close though. front is no problem.

no try 235 40 you need something wide for 8.5's

If you get if figured out to fit the 8.5"s you can prob get like 275s on there.
You would be wasting that money if you just plan on going with 225. I actually
had 225/50s on my 7" wheels, and they were just fine.
