Help me decide which to purchase the kybs or tokicos I can get both same price at 359.00 for set of 4 from shox.com. I'm using stock springs (no laughing guys). I just want some adjustability for the road.

For the same price definitely go with Illuminas. The AGX shocks in front are longer than stock so you get too little travel.

Tokico's scuk too though.Buy Koni's

If you are going to stay on stock springs there is nothing wrong with AGXs. They work fine and have plenty of travel if you are remaining at stock height. Either shock would work well at stock height.

Now, typically AGXs cost a little less than tokicos. So, if you can find the AGXs for less money, and are staying at stock ride height, then get the AGXs.

If you are going to lower your car more than a half an inch or an inch (the AGXs should be fine for a half inch maybe an inch, I doubt more than that) then get the tokicos.

So if lowering is in your future plans, and you can get the tokicos for the same price, then tokicos would be the way to go just so you have the option to lower in the future without having to buy new shocks.

Why on earth would anyone laugh at you for using stock springs? You've been hanging out with too many riceboys ;) I certainly don't see any drawbacks to using stock springs.

Heh heh, I'm of the opinion that negative camber is cool if it's being used in the proper venue, the street not beign the proper venue.
