I just remounted my cruise control in my car with my Neuspeed strut tower bar. :) It was really pretty easy and I will try and get some pics up in the next couple of days. But in the mean time what I did was...

1. With the STB off of the car, remove the cover from the cruise control cable box. There is 2 10mm bolts that hold it on. One on the front one on the driver side.

2. Once the cover is off you will see the 2 upper bolts holding it to the firewall. There is also one underneath it more toward the passenger side. Remove all three of these bolts (all are 10mm).

3. Once the box is loose from the firewall, if you pull it out a little (about as far as the cables will let you.) you will notice another bolt. This is the key! This bolt will have nothing hooked to it! :)

4. Use the "spare" bolt and the one next to it and bolt the top of the CC unit to those. You will not have a bolt in the botton, but it is fine.

5. Replace the CC cover. Also I had a relay mounted tot he front of my CC unit by one of the cover bolts. I secured it to the firewall in one of the upper holes with the remaining bolt. :)

i always wonderd what that black thing bolted to the cc box was for.. i figured it was a sensor, but it didnt really "connect" to anything, and sure didnt look like it sensed the cc.......

but right on, how bout them lower tie bars ;-)
