I want to drop my car, I have a 97 GST, im tying to decide between springs or coilovers. all the coil overs i see state they dont fit GSX or GST models. are they really different? does this also go for springs??? whats the difference anyway? someone on hear is selling springs, if they are from a NT they wont fit GST??

thanks guys...

i am pretty sure, almost positive, that all 95-99 Eclipse FWD springs are they same, but the GSX's are different.

i think the only dif. between springs and coilovers are that with the coilovers you can rais or lower the car between the max drop.

what they are saying is true but if you go with coilovers DO NOT go with cheap ones, you WILL be dissapointed. The most inexpensive I would go with would be either Ground control coilovers or Skunk2 coilovers. Unless you have a real reason for getting coilovers, I would just go with springs. As far as which are best, I have progress springs and love them. Others have Pro-kits and enjoy them as well. Some with sportlines do not prefer the ride, but love the look. So in the end its up to you.
