About a week ago I had my H&R springs installed. 1.7" Front and 1.4"back I think. Everything looked fine I had on my stock 16" rims. Tonight me and my friend did the $15 rear camber mod and I put on my new 18' wheels with 225 40 18 or 215 40 18
My left front gap is slightly lower than the right.
My left rear gap is about an Inch lower than the right.
The left rear is rubbing really really bad and the front rubbed once. Has anyone ever had this problem?
How do I Roll the fenders? What could it be?
Please help I hope to try and fix this today but I don't know what to do.

I dunno if I'm having the same problem. But if u wanna know how to roll the fenders, use a baseball bat or anything similar to roll up the fenders. Stick it under the gap and use the tire as leverage as you push up on it. I guess that's the trick...

Are you sure you put the fronts on the front and the rears on the rear?? Not trying to be a smartass but one is shorter than the other. It doesnt make any sense that your wheel gap would change when you did the camber mod and changed wheels. Id look to make sure the front and rear springs match, then i dont know, make sure all four are the right springs for your car.

That's what I thought. I had the springs put on at the shop.
I checked the rear springs and they look right.

I wonder if my friend loosened the joint on the A arm when he did the camber mod in the rear.
Could that cause more of a drop on the left side if he didn't tighten it the way it was?

my car seems to do something similar.. like the left side of the car sits lower than the right side.. not sure of the reason.. other than the fact that most of the weight with me in the car is on that side of the car...

I have heard that these cars lean a little to the left naturally, yeah id say try rolling the fender more, youve got me stumped.

well if everything was fine before the camber adj. then thats your problem, the wheel gap should not change at all when you adjust the camber or even 16-18" wheels, the OD of the tires should be exactly the same, there is something wrong, take it back to the shop and have them inspect it.

...and go get it aligned!

Hey i just installed the H&R's sports last week. I have no problem with uneven gaps or anyting. The springs are marked individually, with some numbers, then at the end of hte number, there will be a "F" for front, and a "r" for rear. The front springs are shorter too than the rear ones. I personally love the springs, and i used the 15 dolla mod in the rear too, but no probs whatso ever. Actully, i still need a little more positive camber on the rear, its barely in spec. Also, if one side's control arm is farther away from the fender then the other, it will make a slight difference in the wheel gap, but only a little, because the top of the tire is outward and straighter than the other side's control arm, if the arm is indeed closer to the fender well than the other. Be sure you have the correct amount of washers in each of the 8 bolts...
