7963, AIR BAGS??? Posted by reallysmartperson, Mar-25-02 03:18 PM
How will the ride be and how much will it cost? Also, will I be able to adjust them while driving, like keep it relatively high and right before I'm about to race press a button or something and slam it completley to the ground? I won't even have to get a camber kit if I only lower it for racing will I? And how low can you go before you need a camber kit?
Sorry for so many questions it's just I'm a new user and I'm suprised how much you guys know about this stuff.

You want to race with AIR BAGS?!
Have you ever gone for a ride in a Lincoln Town Car? That is what it feels like to have air bags! That why you see them with the back half of the car dragging on the ground, because they lost pressure to the back bags.
If you looking to race, forget the bags, my bro had them and he could hardly give it gas without the car squatting worse than it did stock.
If you going to race just get a nice coil over setup. You will corner harder than you ever dreamed and launch faster too.

i don't know... it depends on what kind of racing you are doing. i definately would not recommend air bags. but to be honest, CO's aren't the best for racing either from what i've heard/experienced. just my opinion.
