DAMMIT...it is so annoying to make a U-turn going into a 2 lane road. My car has a horrible turning radius, my moms full size SUV and my friend's redneck Bronco can turn better than me. This goes for those straight in-line parking too, not the diagonal ones. Does anyone else here do the '3-lane' U-turn?? Oh yeah, even when I got it aligned it was still the same!!!!!!

Yes our cars are by far the hardest to make a uturn or even park in tight spots. I've never driven a car so hard to make a uturn with. Sometimes, even on a four lane road (2 each way), I can barely make a uturn.

LOL....I think it's kindda hilarious to make a 3-point U-turn going into a 2-lane road. I'm glad I'm not the only one having this delimna.

yeah dude our turnin radius sucks ass, my mom's volvo can make a u-turn in less then two lanes but the eclipse forget about it.

i agree, but isnt that why we cum equipped w/e-brake?? just yank her up as your front right tire gets close to da curb, and whip the back end around.

haha, shoot sean, i just did that today when i went to my banks drive through ATM. nobody was around, and i didn't think i could make it, so i yanked up the ebrake and it lined me up perfectly to pull up.

My friend just looked at me and blinked. it was great.

I do the same thing, E-brake U turns because 2 lanes requires a 3 point turn and 3 lanes I can make a U turn so I just E brake it all the time.

You have to pull it hard enough to lock up the rear wheels and then let it go after the rear end swings around. It may wear down the tires in the back a little bit but other than that I can't think of anything that it could damage.

I've never had that problem .. i can hang a U-ie in a two lane road with inches to spare..

I use to have to do a 3pt turn when performing a u turn, but now I can do it easily. Its kinda tight, but I dont have to yank the e-brake or do a 3pt turn.

Hey, on an upside doesnt having a bigger turn radius allow us to run larger width rims with no problem of rubbing. Also our lock to lock is pretty low, probably clearence in the engine room.
