7538, anyone know anything about these brakes? Posted by mitseclps, Mar-14-02 09:38 AM
http://www.rsversion.com/details.asp?ProdID=101
they're only 70$ for the front, at 35 a rotor those are pretty damn cheap. that's about 1/2 the cost of the powerstop ones. worth it?

Can't say that I do, but I was thinking about getting them....ended up going with Brembo slotted/drilled instead. That is a good deal at $35 each....I'm curious myself.

You might want to make sure that they have a guarantee not to warp. I know powerslots do have a guarantee, that's how I decided on them.

someone posted about them a while ago and said they were pretty good, that's all I can say. I plan on getting them when I got my new calipers.

i have those rotors. there pretty good. i haven't had any problem with them so far. i've had them for about 4-5 months.

from what i saw they don't make the rears for any car. i don't know thou, it seems too cheap to be tru, ya know? i found some brembo drilled breaks for 65$each for the front and 70each for the back. i'm thinking of doing the front now and the conversion later. it's about double these breaks thou, but it'll match and i don't know if i trust 35$ rotors...maybe though, still haven't made up my mind...it would save some $$ which is always good.

I ordered from those guys a month ago and had mine installed the week after i got it. it's pretty good, there's less brake dust now to cover up those rimz.

what's the deal with shopping on these. i went to order them 3rd day and it's like $63. does that seem like a lot or is it just that i'm not that familiar w/ shipping prices?

That is alot for shipping but it is determined by weight. I haven't picked up a rotor in a long time but if I remember correctly they are pretty heavy so the shipping will be expensive. They want $33 to ship them to me ground.

does anyone else sell those? the shipping for rotors from ptuning.com is only $9 for ground, they're smokin' some good stuff if they think i'm gonna give 'em $33 for crappy ground shipping.
