7464, prokits for awd? (and needl link to spring install writeup)
Posted by Mystic511, Mar-12-02 10:19 AM
I got my prokits in the mail today, and the item number on the box is marked for the AWD version. I don't know if the guy just used a different box or if the springs are really for an AWD eclipse. Is there any way to tell? And can the AWD springs usable in a GS? It would suck if i had to wait even more cuz i was lied to. =(

And, does anyone have a link onhand for a writeup? I used to have it, but my computer isn't online at the moment since i'm in the process of moving.

thanks for the help guys

kool thanks, now does anyone know if the AWD springs will work with our 2wd GS'? I looked up the springs at eibach.com.. but it only says the drop is lower.

I'm wondering if the size/setup of the spring is different?

no the awd springs are the wrong kind.. there should be some numbers on the springs themselves.. check those and let me know and i should be able to tell you if they are for the awd or 2wd

If the springs have 6014.001 on 2 of them & 6014.002 on the other 2....then they're for the 2WD. But if the springs have 6015.001 on 2 of them & 6014.002 on the other 2....then they're for the AWD.

I have a question though. Which springs go on the front, and which go on the back? The 6014.001 are the heavier springs.

the beefier springs go on front
