I searched the forum and I checked Things We've Seen Before, but I cant find anything about the RRE tie bar and if they redid the bar. I have one of the originals from the first group buy, and the thing is low as hell. I was just wondering if they changed the design so that the bar wouldnt sit so low to the ground. I looked on their site and the pic looks like the design was changed.

No, they haven't changed the design. It's still the same one.

yeah if you really must change it have it changed at a muffler shop or something hehe. Undercar work right? I haven't had too much problem with it being low, but I did hit it on the lift at school and I almost got stuck on the side of mountain when I tried to do a U turn. So annoying, I can't wait for the bolts to snap off. Haha it's so low I can see it in the videos when I'm autoxing.

Does it have enough clearance for a 3" exhaust? And how high is it off the ground on a lowered car?

Yep its got plenty clearance for 3 inch exhuast that's why the bitch is so low, they must think we have like 5 inch exhuasts or something. Clearnace with ground will varie on how low your car is, to get a good idea though I have a aftermarket oil cooler that adds about 1 inch more length to my oil filter. Now imagine the tie bar a little lower than that 1 inch longer oil filter. It's pretty freakin low. If your slammed I don't recommend it. or you could modify it :P
