What does everyone think of Progress Springs? How do they ride?

www.optauto.com has them for $127, anyone seen them cheaper than this?

That was the cheapest I could find them until I got mine used (for $25 :D). Ive had them on my car for a while now and I LOVE the ride. Actually I was just saying to myself yesterday how much I love the ride. Im on stock shocks right now, but Im going to upgrade them b4 I go turbo (since my car club is noe sponsored, hehe). are those springs bouncy how is it w/ your stock struts and how do they compare to prokits or sportlines

yeah kaiser, I got the refund man. Cant thank ya enough though. The ride isnt bouncy at all, its very comfortable. When my dad rode me after I lowered it he said it was firm but still comfortable which is how I feel about it. Just remember, the lower the profile your tires are the harder the ride will be. When I went from the 14's to these, the ride became firmer, but its still very comfortable. The car handles really well. I just want to get rid of more of the body roll, so im getting the adjustable shocks, strut bars, and some sway bars.

Hey man did you install them yourself? If you didn't how much did it cost you to get them out on?

Most places charge 50 to 100 bucks to do a spring/shock install. Costs the same to do both springs and shocks since it's the same labor basically. If you haven't done it, I would just pay someone to do it if you have the money, just to save yourself the hassle (it's also hard to get some of the stuff loose, and you need someone to help you out).

Hey 1TuffRS, did you need a camber kit with your springs or did you just get them aliagned? tia

i have 1 degree negative in the rear and perfect front with my progress. No big deal and will actually help a little for cornering but if you want perfect it will only cost you $15 or so for the diy rear camber fix

That's actually perfect. The factory specs say you should have 1 degree negative camber in the rear, 0 in the front. There is a range that is allowable though.

I installed my 2" drop springs today and must say that it's EASY AS HELL! I wouldn't pay a shop $5.00 to do it... unless I didn't have a garage full of tools, then $50-100 would be a good deal to me. :)
