everyone prepared to lose window washer fluid reservoiur? apparently their arent' spacers included for them, so some fabricating will have to be involved if you want to keep those.

And basically everything else that's near the firewall will have to be spaced out. Saw the bar on Glacius' venge.. it's sweet, but he said it was a bitch to put in.

are you fucking serious, thats BS. I dont know how to fabricate shit. Fast420a's came with the spacers necessary for the install though, so why doesnt ours???

Mine came with spacers and it's not too hard to put in.

The mods I had to make were these:
If you have cruise control, you have to make a plate to lower it.
Bend the bracket which holds the MFI relay to avoid bar
use spacers to distance washer reservoir and brake fluid reservoir from firewall.

That was it. It scrapes just slightly on the hood, but no big deal.

FYI, I've had mine for a few years, so I didn't get it from the group buy you all participated in...didn't want anyone to worry that they hadn't received theirs yet.

Hmm so I could just throw on a buncha washers and it fit fine. hehe I don't have cruise control, sometimes I wish did though :P Dang mid march to get them all done it's gonna take a while, this better be worth the wait.

i knew they originally came with spacers, well see whether or not they do now. So we can use washers and a longer bolts if they dont huh, didnt think about that. Well im gonna post on ASOG to find out for sure.

ya, im waitin patiently. i have spoken w/kyle, and he said the spacer is like 10-12 mm, and is used on the brake fluid resevoir.

Just thought of something, will the neuspeed bar fit with the bar that doesn't cover the oil cap. I was looking at the pic of fast420s and it looks like he has the other bar that covers the oil cap. The one I have goes partially over the intake mani. I hope it'll fit with my bar too. Anyone know?

yes that's the beauty of this strut bar. You can use two strut bars the one that coves the oil cap and the neuspeed one because it uses different mounting points. Most of the strut bars are pretty corny for our cars but with this double bar mod it'll be sweet! well it's March 2nd and no bar yet. I guess 2 more weeks to go....

i'm a little lost with the Nuespeed bar. where can i find out about it and purchase one?

well you can't buy it anymore it's been discontinued. We just had a group buy on them so thats probably the only source in the world to get new ones right now. If you've been reading up it mounts on a different bolts than your traditional strut tower bar. WHich means you can have two strut bars, two strut bars are better than 1 right?

You can call neuspeed directly and ask them if they are making extra since you are not on the groudbuy. That's what the asog guys are doing.
