6853, Vibration when braking Posted by AaronD95GS, Feb-18-02 05:22 PM
I have had trouble with vibrations when braking. I replaced all hte rotors with powerstop drilled rotors and EBC pads all around. They needed this anyway becuase they had over a hundere thousand miles on them. After I did this though there is still some vibraion when braking. I can't figure out what it is. The suspension is tight and I had both lower contol arms and ball joints replaced due to the recall mitsubishi had on them. If anyone has any ideas let me know..

First I would suggest getting he wheelsnd tires balanced, if hat doesn't work, then get an alignment. This should take care of the problem if the rotors aren't warped. Another remote possibility is that the CV shafts have gone out of balance. I would bet on wheel balance.
