Well you can see how much neg camber I have in the rear in my sig, and I was wondering do i need a kit (15 dollar one of course) or am I fine. I dont want to cause any unecessary wear on the tires so ill do it if i need to. If i do need to do it how many washers are you guys with pro-kits using

heh, look at mine. Mine just kinda barely does it. It was worse with my 14s. The new rims seemed to have straightened themselves out a lil bit. 3 yrs been that way, only been through 2 sets of tires. I been watching these new rims/tires though and so far so good. I think it also depends on how hard you corner/drive your car, too. I just think it visually looks weird, thats all haha. / \

I wouldn't go more than 4 washers but any amount of adjustment will help. With my 1.5 inch drop I used 4 washers and I am right at the limit of stock negative camber. I have had these back tires for a while now and the sets before these lasted about 4 - 5 months.

will doing this fuck up my alignment??? cuz I just spent about 700 bucks on tires balancing, alignment, and warranty and im not trying to go back just to get another one.

yesh, any modifications done to the suspension will require another alignment. (mines's only had one alignment ever, and that was before i got the rims haha)

what do camber kits do? they keep the wheels lined up or what? im lost.

When you lower a car, tires generally camber in, so they look like this / \ What a camber kit does is allow you to adjust the degree so you're tires can go back to the normal camber degree

I just put sportlines on recently. Car seemed fine visually, but I decided to have it aligned anyway. I took my car to 4 different places and heard a million different stories from "you will never be able to align your car ever again...you have messed it up forever" to the manager saying "sure...we can do it!" (while the employee is standing behind him shaking his head) Anyway, I was finally sorted out by a gracious fellow from the GA.dsm site. I took it to the place that he recommended (very ritzy titzy...ferrari's and brabus wheels etc etc...turns out they do a lot of 18-wheeler alignment too...basically alignment masters) Anyway the guys there were like..."looks good...surprisingly you do not have very much negative camber in the back" and im like...hahahahahah $15 camber mod yea!!! I am in need of a camber kit for the front right though. I can kinda even see it actually...and I even know what it is from I think. We hadn't quite figured out that there was this one more bolt that you have to take out in order for the strut to pop off...so we sat there hammering that side...the front right...ugh...*smacks self*...i think thats what did it. Otherwise its allgood. 4 washers for the back...dont hammer the hell outta the front and you should be good. Definitely get an alignment tho...they said the camber was good (except front right) but that it was all toe'd out to hell (i guess happens any time you mess with the suspension)...toe'ing causes a "scrub" effect on the tires...which is really bad...so definitely get that alignment, even if you cant feel it when you drive. Remember...tires should last a LOT longer than 5K miles. Sorry for the rambling post...I am drunk.

just check your tires after every couple hundred of miles. if they wear more on the inside than the out noticably than yo need a camber kit
