i just bought a 1998 eclipse gs and i am going to put all new suspension on it. i was just reading some of the articles and they say that you may have to remove the perch from the shock. i am only lowering it for the looks and want to lower it about 2 inches so i went with
Maxspeed Coilovers & Tokico blues

that was the 3rd of what, 15 setups i had...it was probably the best compromise of ride quality and ride height. you'll like it.
