6334, VR-4 brake swap or AEM upgrade?

would It be worth the time and money or should I just go with AEM?

As far as I know the VR-4 isn't a dirrect swap and would require custom brackets. Of the two I would go with AEM, all parts needed are included.

Well it depends on the VR4 your talking about. The Galant VR4s brakes bolt up just like any other 2 piston DSM brakes will. If you can get them cheap and just paint them I say go for it dude. I'm looking for some at a yard myself, turbo is killing my brakes O_o

Now the 3000GT VR4 is another question, those are monsterous 4 piston calipers that do not bolt on. YOu can get big brakes from:
1G AWD
2G AWD
Galant VR4 (hard to find)
Diamante
Base Model 3000GT
Base Model Stealth (yes they do make TT stealths)

Any of you guys have to drive in the snow? I have been having a intersting time braking in the snow. If I hit the brakes too hard I think my rear wheels lock up too and my car tries to go sideways on me. Anyone else have this problem?

By the way, could weight distribution have anything to do with it? My trunk is gutted.

probably the weight distritbution is a factor since we are front heavy all the weight will shift to the front and the back will get even lighter. I've seen my car autox on tape b4 and I can lock up all 4 wheels also.

I've never driven in the snow though :P

Make sure if you are getting calipers from a 1G DSM it's a 1994. The 1990-1993 only had 1 piston calipers, not 2 piston like the 94-99's.
