A little history.............
Over the summer i got a rear strut bar from RRE. Well, after several tries ( and some cutting), i have finally resigned myself to the fact that it was poorly designed and wont go on. I am VERY disappointed. The ends have a sort of cup with a hole in the bottom for the shock tower screw, but there is not enough room for any kind of socket, pliers, wrench, anything to get in there and tighten it up. I called RRE and asked for help and first, the guy told me the wrong size, then he told me to just use a thin walled socket. There's no socket with walls thin enough to fit in there. And furthermore, you have to hold the top of the shock screw with a wrench to tight the nut down! Sorry, i had to get this off my chest and vent. If anybody has any suggestions or knows of anyplace to get a good rear strut bar(ie well designed), please let me know.

I got mine off Ebay.. they are made by Matrix racing. Obviously not the best but it worked for me. I noticed a little difficulty getting it on, but all I had to do was remove the rubber boot that sits on top on the strut and I was able to get it tightened down. (I think i paid 40 bux for the front and back)

Nevermind, i see them now :)
Randy.....you have an RRE rear STB? If so, how did you get the nut to tighten down w/o holding the shock tower screw thing? a Mitsubishi mechanic told me that is the only way to tighten it down and from my experiences, he's right...........i dunno.........
