i need new rotors, cuz the ones i have are scraping when i brake, and rusted, and the whole deal. anyway, i was wondering whether i should just go out and get oem replacement rotors at like pep boys or something, or just get the PowerSlot rotors, which are the ones i had planned on getting? also, anyone who has the PowerSlots, do the rear hubs rust?

btw, i could get them for $350 shipped. is this the best deal i can get (it's the best i've found)?

you might not NEED new rotors is your car shakin while you brake? if not it could be as easy as your brake pads... i would do those first mine are going bad and they make a noise when they do as i posted in preformance near the end

Hey, I'm also worrying about my rotors right now. Never knew that you had to replace these things, hehehe. I thought u just had to replace the pads everytime you hear a squeal. When I bought the car last year from a dealer, it already started squealing everytime I braked. I brought it back to them, said my pads were aftermarket, that's why. Well right now, its still squealing, and I just had my brake pads replaced. And the guy who did my timing belt also warned me about my rotors. Now I don't know which to get first, new tires since mine are already getting bald, or new rotors. I don't know which one is the lesser evil to replace. Anyway, back to the rotors. I was thinking either getting the Powerslot rotors or the AEM big brake kit. Its almost the same price, and with AEM, at least they come colored. :-) So, any suggestions?

well guys, i just ordered them. i ordered the PowerSlot rotors, like i said, and i also ordered ebc green stuff brake pads. i ordered them from two different places though. i found the rotors (all four) for $325 shipped, which is the best price i found for them. it was $25 shipping, cuz all the rotors were $299. i got them from shox.com. they have great prices! i'll let you know about the service. they said 5 business days. i then ordered the ebc green stuff pads from tirerack.com, cuz i also wanted to get the wheel wax they have. i paid $59 & $69 for the front & rear, respectively. anyways, i'll let you guys know about the performance of these when i get them installed.

I got my brembo rotors (x-drilled & slotted) for like 110 for the front. The back ones are like 100, but i'm just to cheep to buy them :-)

Hey have you had any probs with the Brembo rotors? They are cross drilled AND slotted right? We sell these, so I'm thinking of putting these on. How do I install new rotors?

where did you get the brembo ones? i was thinking of going powerslot and doing the rear break conversion while i was at it, i really need new breaks, more so than a new clutch.

I have powerslot rotors in the front. They are great. I was sick of buying autozone rotors that would warp after 5000 miles. The powerslot rotors do not warp at all, plus they are guaranteed, so you can send them back if they do. They also don't rust, so they look a lot better than the stock, or OEM replacement. The only thing I noticed about them was that it took a while to break them in. For the first 1000 miles or so, it felt like I wasn't stopping as well, but all the sudden they started gripping. Very good buy.

Hey Speedracer21, are the bremos slotted/drilled rottors cadium plated? If so, where did you get them. I have powerslots but was looking into the slotted/drilled combo.

i think pretty much everyone agrees holes = rice, and i've heard of brembos getting cracked around the holes

i ended up buying a set of cross drilled, slotted rotors and they work great. i don't know what brand they are cause i threw the box out.

I bought the powerslot slotted rotors for my fronts for 250.00 from a local shop. They are pretty sweet, only thing is I'm noticing that you can feel the pads going over the slots and it feels a bit funny, but they work damn good!

I have a question, I saw some ''black''rotors in a site, I just wonder will the balck color wear out really quick? I had the powerslots rotors now, the gold paint all wore out at one time when I hard breaking last time.hmm..
