what size tires and rims would be the best combination for the eclipse. I'm looking for 18" cominations tire sizes and rims sizes 7.5 or 8" widths.

if u have a lot of drop, maybe 215/35/18. That's thin and narrow tho. I'd have to agree on the 225/40/18's myself. Then a prokit maybe to drop it.

215/35/18 SUCK. they look awesome, but i had them and nothing but trouble. i had the nitto 450s in that size and the belts on the sidewall's would pop off (VERY BAD) luckily the tires never blew. either way, i had ordered the 50$ road hazzard warantee so it wasn't too bad, i just got them replaced every few months. a hastle thou. that and w/ that size tire you don't get any traction.

215/35-18 is not recommended. on 18's you should stay with 225. the series can change some i'd say between 35 and 45. 225/40 is good. for looks 225/35 but that's gonnab e pricey. i would but ingalls's camber shit. it's money but you'll end up payin for after you replace two tires from camber wear

SUCKED I will never ever go that way again. I went through about 9 different tires at that time and the thing that sucked was that I had to keep getting the same size tires because they were under warranty at Tire Kingdom and in order to get them at my prorated price I had to get the same tires.......soooooo after dealing with cracking sidewalls, bad camber, horrible toe and camber wear, I sold my 18's. I also agree that 225/40/18 would be a better choice and I HIGHLY recommend BOTH camber kits, the 15 dollar one for the rear and pay the extra 110 for the ingall's front, it will save you $$ in the long run
