5365, RRE or $15 rear camber? Posted by espilcEGS, Dec-31-01 09:58 AM
Which is the best way to go? I would rather pay $40 if there would be less stress.

I've seen RRE's camber kit. As much as i ike RRE and appreciate the work they do for many 2GNTers and DSMers ingeneral, i would do the $15 mod before i'd use thier camber kit. It's just not up to my spec.. If you want more than my opinion, let me know and i'll explain why.

I got the RRE kit. I personally would rather make sure I get parts that RRE, being a great DSM tuning company reccomends and sells. However, it is just simple bolts and spacers. I just didn't want to have to run to 2 or 3 places and not even be guaranteed that they would have the parts I needed or buy weak parts. So I ordered the RRE kit, and I feel safe driving on it, cuz they know their shit. Just my opinion.

Thanks for the feedback! I see that they are both basicly the same. Has anyone used the sprint rear kit?

I think Ingalls is the best for our cars. The front shouldn't need one.

Yeah the ingalls kit is nice, more expensive but you can really do a camber alignment with it, it's basically spacers and a alignment bolt similar to our toe adjust that goes onto the upper arm in the rear. Nice stuff, Kory has it and installed it after he saw the quality of the RRE kit.
The RRE kit is basically the same thing as the 15 dolla camber mod but it uses spacer instead of washers, the spacers don't look very well fabricated either. If you can I would do the 15 dollar camber mod, it's hard to find the parts sometimes though, I suggest going to pep boys but usually their crap is all gone and they never stock up. :(

Ingalls kit it is! I just don't like the thought of putting nothing but washers behind the A-arm mounting plates. My Tokico illuminas and springs should be here next week. I'm trying to get everything together and do it right the first time. Thanks
