don't bother. Just tighten with the car on the ground.

o-k, how tight should they be? Like leave a little play in them or none at all? Thanks!

I start by putting the brackets on the strut tower and tightening them back to the correct torque and then giving it a little tug to make sure it's tight. Then I connect the bar to the brackets and tighten it down pretty tight. I replace all the weak fake chrome bolts with real bolts so I can tighten them like they should be. I broke 2 bolts that came with some of my strut bars when I was putting them on once.

yeah just intall that sucka and turn the bar until it gets tighter, if it gets looser your going the wrong way. Get it as tight as you can get it. THen bang on it and it makes a big BOING sound it probably not tight enough, it should like a thump sound hehe. I hate the strut bars for our cars most of them are garbage. Neuspeed strut bar here I come!
