5162, Got my winter beaters on yesterday
Posted by Logic3, Dec-19-01 05:55 AM
Well, got the winterbeaters/battle wheels on yesterday, 16x7 ICW's Racing Wheels, and threw the Konig's in storage for the winter. I haven't had these things on in so long I forgot what a difference an 1" can make in the appearance of a wheel! They're not as pretty as the Konigs but I can chrip my tires like a mutha in 2nd gear :) Not really important just thought I'd share :)

Car feels much faster on 16's compared the the 17's.

I am glad I get to keep mine on year round! No snow in FL!! Good traction ALL the time. . . except when it rains. . .which it does a lot.

I have my 14's sitting in storage if I need them
That fiberglass bumper and soon to be kit won't do well on the sportlines in snow anyways. I'll just drive my mom's montero sport! :P

All4thaN0okie, I think these guys are the lucky ones. No snow for Fast420a and a 4 wheel drive SUV is available for 9D9.

Evul is right though...its all about the 14's...just not for me :P

That's the thing, the montero sport we got is RWD. We didn't want 4WD, because we figured we would hardly ever need it. It doesn't snow a lot here. And 4WD's aren't as good on gas from what I heard. It still has the nice clearance tho to avoid a lot of shit my car can't anymore.
